Questions and Answers

1. How do I download Walgo?

  1. Walgo is installed using the browser on your mobile phone. You can simply type 'http://getwalgo.com' in your mobile browser's address window, and you will be taken to the correct download location for your model phone. Alternatively, you can request that an email containing the installation link be sent to your phone by filling in the small request form called "Get Started Now" on the Menu bar, or by selecting Download the Free Walgo Application from the Home page.
  2. Once you receive the email on your device, simply click the installation link and Walgo will be installed.

Note: Depending on your email setup, you may need to check your spam folder, as some email agents mistakenly place the invitation email there.

2. Why do you need my mobile number in order for me to use Walgo?

Because we synchronize all of your Walgo content with our secure servers, we need a unique way to identify you and your phone within Walgo. We have selected your full mobile international phone number (including dialing country code '+' number) for this purpose. This ensures we have an identifier for you that is unique across the globe. We chose it over other possible identifiers, such as email address, because it is easily remembered and typed. Please note we will never use it to call or text you.

    2. BlackBerry devices running version 4.2 and later of the BlackBerry OS

4. What exactly are MyCards?

  1. MyCards are personal facsimiles of actual physical items that you want to keep in Walgo - like plastic cards, driver's license, receipts etc. Walgo gives you the tools and templates to design and create your own MyCards.
  2. MyCards are different than "issued" cards, which are actual digital cards that are issued to you by some 3rd party such as the government, a business or an organization.
  3. You can create and access MyCards after you register your account.

5. How many cards can Walgo hold at one time?

The number of cards you can hold in Walgo is only limited by the amount of storage capacity that you have available on your Smartphone. Hundreds of two-sided cards can generally be stored in the newer devices alongside your existing music, movies, pictures, etc.
